I love working with all of my clients, honestly I do. But I must say that I kind of hate Jennifer a teeny tiny bit for looking this fabulous while pregnant. Somehow, I managed to swallow my deep-seeded envy and I had a wonderful time photographing Jennifer and Andy and their growing family:

Congratulations Jennifer + Andy on your baby girl!

One of my favorite parts of an engagement session is the opportunity to hear a couple’s love story.  No two stories are the same, and every path to love seems to bend and twist every which way.  Take Shawn and Alex – they were introduced in high school, but nothing came of it. Then life happened – school, other relationships, children. Fast forward many years, and Shawn and Alex are reunited at a party for a mutual friend.  This time, a relationship developed, and a new family started to form.  On a family camping trip Alex proposed to Shawn, and the rest – well, that part of the story continues to develop. We had such a wonderful time at the beach – Shawn, Alex and their two sweet kiddos.

Shawn, Alex, Izabel & AJ – thank you for a lovely day at the beach.  See you again very soon for your summer wedding!

Alyssa and Bryan may look young, but their families and friends have been waiting for Y-E-A-R-S for these two to make it official. They met as kids and became fast friends. Everyone else thought they were a great match, but Alyssa wasn’t about to let her parents or family or friends influence her decision.  Besides, she and Bryan were really good friends – why ruin it? Eventually, these two could no longer deny that a while a friendship was nice, there was far more between the two of them. And on their wedding day, they committed to each other as so much more than friends – as their families and friends knew they would all along.  Such a beautiful, intimate wedding filled with so much happiness and laughter.  And some breakdancing. And cake smashing.

Congratulations Alyssa and Bryan!

I can’t believe it has already been one whole year since London was born! I’ve been taking pictures of London since before she arrived on the scene, and I was lucky enough to meet Miss London a few days after she was born. Heather wanted some photos of her soon-to-be one year old along with big brother Hudson, AND she was interested in a 100% film session.  Done, done and done.

This is the third time I’ve had Hudson in front of my camera, and he never disappoints with the charm.  But as you can see, London brings her own brand of cuteness to the camera as well.

Happy Birthday sweet girl!
